    3. Yuvraj Singh – 3 Man of the Match awards

    Former Indian cricket team all-rounder Yuvraj Singh won this award three times in his T20 World Cup career. The first two of them came in the year 2007, one in Super 8s match against England, and the other one in the semifinal against Australia. Singh also won this award in Super 8s against South Africa in 2012.

    2. R Ashwin – 3 awards

    R Ashwin is one of the most underrated Indian T20 players. He has won the award three times as well. The first two of them came in 2014, against Bangladesh and Australia in the Super 10 round. Two years later, Ashwin won the award again against Bangladesh in Super 10s.

    1. Virat Kohli – 7 Man of the Match awards

    Virat Kohli holds the record for the most awards among all Indian players. He has already won the award twice in the ongoing T20 World Cup – one against Pakistan and one against Bangladesh. Before that, he won it against Afghanistan and Pakistan (2012), South Africa (2014) and Pakistan and Australia (2016).
