2. Highest ODI Score
The highest individual score in 50-over cricket is 264, which is registered under the name Rohit Sharma. He scored it against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens on 173 balls. He hit 33 fours and nine sixes in his innings and registered the highest ODI individual score.
3. Most 100s in single ODI WC
Rohit had an incredible performance in the 2019 ODI World Cup. He was unstoppable at one stage, but unfortunately, he couldn’t lead India to the final. However, the Indian captain smashed 5 centuries in that edition, which is a record. No player has scored five centuries in a single World Cup edition.
4. More than 100 runs in an innings across formats
Rohit Sharma is the only batter who has scored 100 or more runs from boundaries in an inning across all three formats. He has done it in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is as well, which has not been done by any batter. There are not many all-format batters present, but doing it in T20Is especially is very hard. 5. Most Runs from Boundaries in an ODI Inning
During his knock of 264 runs, Rohit hit 33 fours and 6 sixes, which is a total of 168 runs in his innings from boundaries. With this, he holds the record for most runs from sixes and fours in an ODI innings by a batter, which might not be broken again.
