The rumours are through the roofs about the fact that RCB may come after KL Rahul in the auction if he is not retained by LSG.
There are tough times that Rahul has been going through and unless he is able to find a way out, things might just get darker for him. So who would be the captaincy picks if LSG decides to let KL Rahul go?
There are a couple of elements to LSG that will first be talked about before they take a decision. The first being they will be without Gautam Gambhir for this edition which means they will need a strong voice as a captain of the side. Despite CSK being touted as the favourite to land Rishabh Pant, IPL auctions can be a crazy place to be around. With that being said, LSG would love to have Pant on board, especially for his incredible batting and his advocacy for the young guns of the side. He loves young blood and that is going to be a mssive plus point for LSG.
#2 Glenn Maxwell
There are high chances that RCB may part ways with Maxi. Maxi has been an absolute sensation in the IPL and LSG can gun for him from the shelves. We have seen how Glenn Maxwell can completely change the game in a heartbeat and as a captain, given the towering experience that he has, he will be a value addition.
#3 Mitchell Marsh
Another Aussie all-rounder who may not find the nod from DC ahead of the upcoming IPL auction. Marsh has proven the fact that he can be a gamechanger and his all-round brilliance makes him an impeccable pick. Also his captaincy has already been proven at the greatest stage of all which will make LSG scratch their heads as a captaincy pick.
