SRH was not great in IPL 2025. The Pat Cummins-led side was expected to reach the playoffs. However, that did not happen. Here, we take a look at the list of three players SRH could shockingly release before the next season.

1) Mohammed Shami
Shami is a star Indian cricketer. Usually, for players of such stature, even if there is a bad season, teams give them a long rope. However, this time around, that may not happen with Shami. He was disappointing in IPL 2025, and he is also on a high salary. Therefore, SRH could release the pacer.
2) Adam Zampa is one of the players SRH could shockingly release before the next season
Adam Zampa was supposed to lead the spin attack. However, he got injured. For a while now in the IPL, Zampa has always been inconsistent with his availaibility. That said, he is a key player, and SRH could struggle to get him back. Despite this, there is a chance that SRH will release the Aussie cricketer.
3) Abhinav Manohar
Many felt that it would be a breakout season for Manohar. However, it was Aniket Verma who did well. Hence, Manohar might now be released. It is a bold move because this decision could bite back SRH in the future.
