1) Rahul Tripathi
It is clear that Rahul Tripathi will start at No.3 for CSK. He found some form in the last few games of IPL 2024. That will keep him in good mind and also, at CSK, with the freedom that the franchise gives, Rahul will be able to do well. His attacking intent is something that CSK will be looking forward to.
2) Rachin Ravindra could bat at No.3 for CSK in IPL 2025
Rachin Ravindra is one of the players who are likely to bat at No.3 for CSK in IPL 2025. Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad will open the batting. It will be unwise if CSK keep a talented player like Rachin Ravindra out of the playing 11. That said, No.3 is the best slot for Rachin if he does not get a chance to open the batting.
3) Deepak Hooda
Deepak Hooda has been successful at No.3 in the IPL before. His strength is against the spinners. CSK could be looking at the range-hitting that he has against the spinners.
