SRH had an interesting outing at the IPL 2026 Auctions. They had a decent purse but could not land everyone they aimed for. Here, we take a look at the list of three players whom SRH bid for and should have signed for IPL 2026.
SRH had a poor run in IPL 2025. This time around, they have improved the squad, but there are still some gaps in the side. The management will want to improve it with the existing players.
1) Ravi Bishnoi
Zeeshan Ansari and Harsh Dubey will lead the spin attack for SRH in IPL 2026. Someone with more experience such as Bishnoi would have added depth and muscle to this department.
2) Auqib Nabi is one of the players whom SRH bid for and should have signed for IPL 2026
With Mohammed Shami traded, SRH had to get a good Indian pacer in the side. Nabi is someone they could have hired, as he would have provided value in all the phases. However, the franchise could not sign him. Shivam Mavi is in the squad but he is more of a new-ball bowler.
3) Mangesh Yadav
SRH fought hard with RCB for Mangesh Yadav but could not land the cricketer. He would have been an ideal backup for Jaydev Unadkat. The franchise needed more domestic Indian pacers and hence, Mangesh should have been signed by the franchise.
