Recently, even some top Indian cricketers have taken this route to change the course of their careers. It has worked for them and many others follow this path right now.

    1) Ravi Bishnoi (Rajasthan to Gujarat)

Ravi Bishnoi, who is slowly becoming a part of the Indian Team, has confirmed that he would play for Gujarat the next season. At Rajasthan, Bishnoi struggled to get a lot of games mainly due to the presence of Rahul Chahar in the setup. Gujarat currently has Piyush Chawla as the lead spinner and would look at the future with Bishnoi now joining him.

    2) Karun Nair (Karnataka to Vidharba)

Karun Nair is one of the popular cricketers who have reportedly changed their domestic teams before the upcoming season. Last season was not a memorable one for Karun. While he was dropped for the shorter formats by KSCA, he was also not considered for the longer formats. On the back of this, he has now reportedly made the decision to move to Vidharba. A few seasons ago, another Karnataka stalwart Ganesh Satish had made a similar move.

    3) Shreyas Gopal (Karnataka to Kerala)

Just like Karun, Shreyas Gopal also suffered a similar fate last season with Karnataka. However, it was just in the shorter formats and in the Ranji Trophy, Shreyas did get some opportunities. It would be a big loss for Karnataka because Shreyas is a talented cricketer and is also an experienced all-rounder. However, considering his returns were not that great in the bowling department, KSCA could now look at some youngsters to take the spin department forward.
