The Legends League Cricket 2024 Auctions happened recently. Some relatively young cricketers are a part of the event. Here, we take a look at the list of three teammates of Virat Kohli in the 2008 U19 WC who will play in LLC 2024.
Since the 2008 U19 World Cup squad gave Virat Kohli, a lot is usually talked about that batch. While the likes of Ravindra Jadeja had success, players like Manish Pandey also did well. A few have retired and are now in LLC 2024 edition.
1) Iqbal Abdullah
Iqbal Abdullah had an under-rated career for Mumbai and also an IPL career. With KKR and RCB, he enjoyed some good matches. However, in the last few years, he was not able to do well at the Ranji level. Hence, he had to take retirement and is now a part of the Legends League Cricket, as well.
2) Saurabh Tiwary is one of the teammates of Virat Kohli in the 2008 U19 WC
It was at Mumbai Indians that the Jharkhand man left many impressed. It is rare to have left-handed middle-order batters do well but Tiwary sparked hope. Although he did play for India, he could not cement his career in the blue jersey. Recently, he announced his retirement from all forms of the game. He will now play LLC this year.
3) S Goswami
Goswami is one of the teammates of Virat Kohli in the 2008 U19 WC who will play in LLC 2024. The West Bengal cricketer was the wicket-keeper for Team India when the squad won the U19 World Cup in 2008. He also joined Virat Kohli at RCB for the initial seasons. Although Goswami had a few good seasons with West Bengal, he just could not make it to the next level.
