IPL 2025 has finished with RCB as the winner. A few teams would want to make some major changes for the next campaign. Here, we take a look at the list of three teams that might change their captains for IPL 2026.

1) Kolkata Knight Riders
Ajinkya Rahane did well as a batter. However, he just does not fit into the balance of the side. Also, KKR must look at their future. In this regard, Rahane being the skipper again will not help the present and the future of the franchise.
2) Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the teams that might change their captains for IPL 2026
Pat Cummins was not great as a bowler in IPL 2025. SRH will need someone who can add value in this regard. Also, considering the future, it is better if they hand over the baton to someone like Abhishek Sharma. It would be the right time for him to take some responsibilities as a skipper.
3) Lucknow Super Giants
It is more about reducing the pressure for Rishabh Pant. More than as a skipper, LSG want Pant as a batter. There is already Nicholas Pooran who can lead the side well.
