Pakistan and India are arch-rivals in cricket. The two Asian teams made it to the first-ever T20 World Cup Final, which happened back in the year 2007. Just like the previous ICC events, the Men in Blue beat their arch-rivals to lift the inaugural T20 World Cup.
So far, India and Pakistan have battled eight times at the grandest stage for T20I cricket, with the Indian team emerging victorious on seven occasions. Although the Indian team has been quite dominant against their neighbors, it is not that the Men in Green are weak. Even they have won the T20 World Cup.
Still, there have been many off days for the Pakistan team. Here’s a list of three such teams which have never defeated India but they have a victory against the Men in Green.
1. Afghanistan has defeated Pakistan but never beaten India
Afghanistan has been one of the fastest-rising teams in cricket world right now. They debuted in the 2010 T20 WC at the grand stage. Last year, they made history by defeating Pakistan in the group stage of the 2023 ODI WC. However, they are yet to beat India in any game.
2. USA
USA made their debut at the T20 World Cup 2024. The American team seemed to be in a tough group as ICC pitted them along with two former champions. However, USA stunned everyone by defeating Pakistan via Super Over. Later in the group stage, USA lost against India.
3. Ireland
Ireland have also improved quite a lot in the international arena. They announced their arrival with a win against Pakistan in the 2007 ODI World Cup. Ireland have faced India many times at home, away from home and at neutral venues as well, but the Irish team has never emerged victorious against them.
