A lot of English cricketers were actually born outside England. Here, we take a look at the list of three West Indian-born cricketers who currently represent England.
While many English cricketers have origins from South Africa, a few interestingly have origins inthe West Indies, as well. We take a look at these names below:
1) Jofra Archer
Jofra Archer is one of the popular cricketers in this regard. England tried hard to ensure that he was eligible to play for them in the 2019 World Cup. That helped the side win the trophy. Since then, he has been a very crucial figure for the side.
2) Jacob Bethell is one of the West Indian-born cricketers who currently represent England
It is interesting to note that Jacob was born in Barbados. He moved to England with his family as a teenager, and since then, his cricketing career has gone up. Now, he is touted to be the next big thing in English cricket. The young all-rounder has already played in all three formats of the game.
3) Chris Jordan
A veteran pacer, Jordan has been a fine servant of English cricket. He made a name for his skills in the death overs. Chris was also known for his acrobatic fielding skills. At the moment, he has a difficult road to get back in the English setup.
