    B. Sai Sudharsan made his ODI debut in the first ODI between South Africa and India in Johannesburg. He made an unbeaten 55 off 43 balls, with nine boundaries, to lead India to an 8-wicket win. With this, Sudharsan became the fourth Indian opener with a fifty or more on debut.

    3. Faiz Fazal

    Faiz Fazal has played only one game for India. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2016 in Harare under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. India dismissed Zimbabwe for 123 runs and made 126/0 to win by ten wickets. KL Rahul made 63 not out, while Faiz scored 55 off 62, with seven fours and one six. But after that, he didn’t play for India.

    2. KL Rahul

    KL Rahul is the only Indian batter to score a hundred on his ODI debut. He played his first ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare in 2016 under MS Dhoni. Rahul made 100 off 115 balls, with 7 fours and one six and India won that game by 9 wickets. With this, Rahul registered his name in the record books.

    Robin Uthappa was the first Indian opener to score a 50+ score on the ODI debut. He played his first game agianst England in 2006 under Rahul Dravid. He scored 86 off 96 balls with 12 fours and one six to become the first opener with a fifty on debut. India won that game by 7 wickets.
