1. Virat Kohli won Man of the Match on T20 World Cup debut
Star Indian batter Virat Kohli has achieved enormous success in the T20 World Cup tournament. Fans will never forget his knocks in the T20 World Cup 2016 match against Australia and T20 WC 2022 match against Pakistan. Kohli won his first Man of the Match award against Afghanistan back in the year 2012 in Colombo for scoring a half-century.
2. Amit Mishra won Man of the Match on T20 World Cup debut
Leg-spinner Amit Mishra also won the Player of the Match in his first game at the grand stage. It was against Pakistan, where he bowled a fantastic spell of 2/22, dismissing Ahmed Shehzad and Shoaib Malik.
3. Ashish Nehra
Like Virat Kohli, Ashish Nehra won his maiden Player of the Match award against Afghanistan on T20 World Cup debut. It was in 2010, where Nehra bowled a fine spell of 3/19 to help the Indian team win.
4. Pragyan Ojha
Former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha made his T20I debut at the grand stage itself. He bowled a phenomenal spell of 4/21 against Bangladesh at Trent Bridge to help India win the game comfortably.
