While the best players of the world are always in demand at the auctions, here’s a list of the four such players who rarely performed well in the league. Yet, they ended up earning multiple contracts from the teams in the tournament.

    1. Chris Jordan has disappointed many IPL teams

England pacer Chris Jordan is one of the few players to have played for RCB, CSK and MI. He failed to make an impact in a majority of the games. Jordan’s performed were not up to the mark even when he played for PBKS and SRH in the league.

    3. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey was one of the top Indian stars in the league around 2017-18, but his performances have declined a lot in the last three seasons. He could not perform well for SRH in 2021, LSG in 2022 and has had a forgettable season with DC in 2023.

    4. Mandeep Singh

Mandeep Singh came into the limelight with his top performances for Punjab Kings in 2012. He even won the Emerging Player of the Season award. While Singh performed decently until 2020, his performances have declined since 2021. Yet, teams like Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders have offered him contracts in the last two auctions of the Indian Premier League. Mandeep’s performance has been quite disappointing.
