    Akash Madhwal joined the Mumbai Indians as a replacement last season. Madhwal had his breakthrough season in 2023, where he emerged as a top wicket-taker for MI. He completed mechanical engineering before playing cricket.

    It is quite well-known that Ravichandran Ashwin holds an engineering degree to his name. The all-rounder has played for multiple franchises in the league, and he is currently a part of the Rajasthan Royals. Ashwin is an engineering graduate in IT.

    Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Mitchell Santner also holds an engineering degree. The all-rounder was a mechanical engineering student at the Waikato University in New Zealand.

    Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the initial seasons of the league. Kumble was also a mechanical engineering student and graduated from RV College.
