    Big names like Steve Smith, Shane Watson, Ajinkya Rahane, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rajat Bhatia and Praveen Tambe played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2015. All of the above-mentioned names earned contracts from other teams in 2016. However, the following five names disappeared from the league after RR’s two-year suspension.

    1. Dishant Yagnik was part of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2015

    Dishant Yagnik is currently a member of Rajasthan Royals’ coaching staff. He played his last IPL match in 2014. The wicket-keeper batter warmed the benches in the 2015 season for RR.

    2. Juan Theron was part of Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2015

    Former South African fast bowler Juan Theron also turned up for the Royals in 2015. He played only one match, where he returned with figures of 1/40 against Mumbai Indians. Theron has now moved to the USA.

    3. Dinesh Salunkhe

    Dinesh Salunkhe was a leg-spin bowler, who played six matches for RR in 2008. He was a part of the squad in 2015 season but did not play. Salunkhe never played in IPL again.

    Abhishek Nayar has joined the coaching staff of the Kolkata Knight Riders now. Nayar was in the RR squad for the 2015 season. He played his last match for Rajasthan in 2014.

    5. Vikramjeet Malik

    Vikramjeet Malik also played his last match for Rajasthan Royals in 2014 but remained a part of the squad in 2015. Overall, Malik played 13 matches in his career, where the right-arm pacer accounted for six wickets.
