The young Mumbai Indian’s leg spinner became the talk of the town during the IPL 2018, where he grabbed 15 wickets in 14 matches. He was even the leading wicket-taker of his side in Ranji Trophy 2018-19, which made him receive his debut international call from India. He could not manage to continue his form at the international level as his figures of 0 for 31 in T20 against Australia in 2019 didn’t prove to be that much eye-catching. Since then, he has not played his 2nd 20 over international match so far.
1.Faiz Fazal
Faiz Fazal has been one of the most consistent performers at the domestic level, and riding on those excellent performances, he got a place in India’s ODI squad. Fazal played a match against Zimbabwe and scored a fantastic 55* for India. The selectors did not give him another chance courtesy of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan’s extraordinary display of batting.
