Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell’s wife, Vini Raman, celebrated his remarkable double-century in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 with an Instagram story for her husband after a remarkable inning. Maxwell’s extraordinary performance helped Australia secure a thrilling three-wicket victory over Afghanistan at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Vini Raman and Maxwell tied the knot in 2022 and recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in September. She was present at the Wankhede Stadium to witness her husband’s outstanding performance.
Maxwell’s historic innings of 201 not out off 128 balls in the pursuit of 292 runs marked the first-ever double century in the second innings of an ODI match. He also became the first Australian to achieve a double hundred in ODIs.
In response to this phenomenal achievement, Vini Raman expressed her admiration by sharing a picture on her Instagram story, accompanied by various emojis to celebrate her husband’s achievement in a thrilling match that had Australia down and out.

Talking of Australia, the Aussies have now qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-finals with that win and will now take on the South African cricket team in the Semi-final of the tournament.
Australia have staged a brilliant comeback in the tournament after earlier setbacks that they have had to suffer. The Aussies lost first two matches of the tournament against India and South Africa, who coincidentally sit ahead of Australia in 1st and 2nd position respectively.
Since after that, the Pat Cummins led side has recorded a brilliant comeback with now 6 wins on the trot. The Kangaroos still has a match left to play as part of the league phase against Bangladesh on the 11th of November.
