The Pakistan cricket team has kicked-off its ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign today against the Netherlands cricket team in Hyderabad. The Babar Azam led side were able to score only 286 runs while batting first.

Today, one of the favorites to make it to the Semi-Finals, Pakistan cricket team has commenced its World Cup 2023 campaign today against the underdogs Netherlands cricket team.
It was Netherlands who won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Netherlands bowlers proved their captain’s decision right when they managed to take 3 wickets for just 38 runs.
After a good partnership for the 4th wicket, Pakistan once again found themselves in a bit of trouble as they were reduced to 6 wickets for 188 runs. However, due to batting and a good partnership for the 7th wicket meant Pakistan scored 286 runs in total before they were all out.
Meanwhile, earlier, the other Pakistan cricket team suffered a defeat in their Asian games 2023 Semi-Final match vs Afghanistan. Reacting to all these, renowned commentator Aakash Chopra took to his official X account and posted, “Pakistan is batting like Pakistan…predictably unpredictable,” mainly referring to Pakistan’s batting performance vs Netherlands.
