India in T20 World Cup 2021

Team India has got off to the worst possible way in the T20 World Cup 2021, that is being played in the United Arab Emirates and in Oman from the 17th October.

India has had some great warm-up matches against England and Australia, winning both, but when it came down to the main event, Indian cricket team suffered 2 straight defeats to Pakistan and New Zealand.

On the 24th of October, India lost their opening match of the tournament to arch-rival Pakistan by 10 wickets. After that, the poor run of form continued as they lost the 2nd match to New Zealand by 8 wickets.

India now next take on Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia to wrap off the Super 12 round and needs to win all these matches and hope that other results also on their favour to make it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021.
