The preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The mega-event will take place in the USA and West Indies. A total of 20 teams will take part in the coming edition, and England will be defending their title, which they won in 2022 under Jos Buttler.

England is the defending champion and has announced a strong side for the upcoming event, while South Africa and Australia have also announced a pretty good squad. West Indies will be playing in home conditions, and they also have a destructive combination, which makes them a dark horse in the event.
However, Vaughan has not picked any team from Asia. Especially, India and Pakistan. India made it to the semi-final of the last edition, while Pakistan was the runner-up. Both teams have some big names on their side. So it was certainly a bold prediction that Vaughan made ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 start.
