The Asia Cup 2023 is currently underway, and the Super Four stage of the tournament started on Wednesday. The game between India and Pakistan will probably be the biggest name in any tournament. These two teams will now face off against each other in the Super Four.

That match will take place on September 10 (Sunday) in Colombo at the R. Premadasa Stadium. But the biggest concern ahead of that game is the weather forecast. The forecast predicts continuous rain for the next seven days in Colombo, and all the remaining fixtures will take place here only.

Fans were already disappointed after the group match between India and Pakistan got washed out and ended without a result, which could have been a cracking contest. Now no one wants any other game affected by rain. Even the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has shown concern over the weather in Sri Lanka.

For that, they have now added a reserve day for the IND-PAK to be played on Sunday. It is a great move after looking at the altitude of an India-Pakistan contest. That means that if any game from now on gets washed out on the scheduled day, then that match will start from the same point the next day.

The ACC said in a statement, “A reserve day has been incorporated for the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4’s match between Pakistan and India scheduled to take place on September 10, 2023, at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.”

September 11 (Monday) is the reserve day for the game. Spectators can carry the same tickets the next day and enjoy the match. The final of the tournament will take place on September 17, and a reserve day has been allocated for the final as well. However, if the match between India and Pakistan does not complete on reserve day as well, then both teams will share a point each.
