However, now the veteran Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has come up with a bold statement. In an interview with Daily Pakistan Global, he was asked about the comparison between Virat and Babar. Shehzad has picked Virat and said there is no comparison between Virat and anyone.
He said, “Both are good players. You cannot compare Virat Kohli with anyone. Virat Kohli is the best batter in the world. You can’t compare Virat with Babar Azam, me, or anyone else. Everyone is wrong if you compare it with Virat Kohli.”
The 32-year-old pointed out that the former Indian captain has performed against all types of opposition and some of the best bowling attacks and dominated world cricket. Furthermore, he also said that Virat has taken Indian cricket ahead and is one of the prime reasons for the success.
The Pakistani start also said that the former Indian captain has mastered all aspects of the game, whether it is on or off the field, the way he interacts, and whatever he has achieved in test cricket. Shehzad concluded by saying, “Virat’s best is yet to come.”
