Australia and Pakistan played a 3-match ICC World Test Championship series against each other, where the Aussies emerged victorious by a scoreline of 1-0. The first two matches of that series ended in a stalemate, while the third game ended in the favor of the Australian team.

All three Test matches attracted huge crowds. Also, the viewership was high for the Test matches. It was followed by an ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series and a one-off T20I between the two countries. Australia won the first ODI, but Pakistan bounced back and won the 3-match series 2-1.

We are far behind in terms of infrastructure: PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja

While Raja was delighted to see the massive profit generation from the home series against Australia, he also admitted that the Pakistan Cricket Board needs to work on the infrastructure in the country for the growth of the sport.

“We are on the right track when it comes to commercial and cricket aspects but we are far behind in terms of infrastructure,” he mentioned in the same video.
