England women’s cricket team captain Heather Knight recently named her favorite team in the Pakistan Super League. She took over the Twitter handle of the England Cricket Board and then participated in a Q & A session with her fans on social media. One of the fans asked her about her favorite PSL team to which she replied Multan Sultans and added that Mohammad Rizwan was one of her favorites.
The Pakistan Super League has gained a lot of popularity over the last two seasons. One of the main reasons behind the rise in the fan following of the PSL is the top-quality matches that fans have witnessed. As Usman Khawaja said in one of his recent interviews, IPL is the number one league right now, and PSL is nowhere near it, but the level of PSL has improved a lot over the years.
In the recently-concluded PSL, the Lahore Qalandars won their maiden championship by defeating the former champions Multan Sultans in the summit clash. Although the Sultans could not win their second consecutive title, England women’s cricket team Heather Knight still supports the team. Here’s what she replied when asked for her favorite PSL team:

Mohammad Rizwan is all set to play for the Pakistan cricket team in the upcoming home series against Australia
After the culmination of PSL 2022, the Pakistani stars will now be in action against the Australian cricket team in a home series. The Aussies are on a tour of Pakistan for the first time since 1998. The two nations played in the T20 World Cup 2021 semifinals, where Australia defeated Pakistan and advanced to the summit clash.
Meanwhile, Heather Knight will captain England women’s cricket team in the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. It will be interesting to see if England can become the world champion again.
