Former Australian cricket team’s spin bowler Brad Hogg has expressed his belief in Australia’s capability to be the only team that is capable of dethroning India in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 in Indian conditions. Hogg delved into a detailed analysis of the strengths and vulnerabilities of Team India as they approach the tournament.

Scheduled to commence on October 5 in India, the ICC World Cup 2023 will witness India’s inaugural match against Australia on October 8. Both teams, known for their formidable prowess, stand as prominent contenders to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Trophy.

During an interview with Revsportz, Brad Hogg, the former Australian spinner, conveyed his strong belief that Australia holds the exclusive potential to beat India in Indian conditions in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Hogg expressed his confidence, stating, “I firmly believe that Australia stands as the only team that is capable of defeating India in the World Cup 2023. Our current team has displayed remarkable achievements in the World Test Championship and The Ashes, winning both the competition, showcasing their high level of competence and astuteness.”

Meanwhile, before both the teams head into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, both the teams are currently busy in respective competitions. The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma is set to play their first match in the Asia Cup 2023 on the 2nd of September vs their arch-rival Pakistan. After that, they will play against Nepal and if they qualify for the next round, they will have further 3 matches and the potential final.

As for the Australian cricket team, they are currently in South Africa where they will play a 3 match T20I series followed by 5 match ODI series starting from 30th August with the ODI series commencing from 7th September. After that, both Australia and India will play a 5 match ODI series just before the World Cup, starting from 22nd September.
