Famous commentator Danny Morrison has won everyone’s hearts with his brilliant commentary in cricket matches. The IPL fans will always have a special place for Danny in their hearts. The former New Zealand cricketer recently appeared on Sportskeeda’s show Quick Singles where he participated in a Rapid Fire round.

Danny Morrison answered several interesting questions during that brief video. The former New Zealand cricketer named food as the one thing he loves the most about India. When asked to name the one overrated cricketer of this era, Morrison named West Indies T20I skipper Kieron Pollard. Next, he named Daren Ganga as his favorite co-commentator.

When asked who is the most underrated player, Danny Morrison took two names. The first was wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan and the second was the right-handed batter Suryakumar Yadav. He felt Kishan should get more credit and opportunities, whereas Yadav should have played a lot more matches for the Indian cricket team.

Danny Morrison thinks IPL is better than PSL

During the same interview, Danny Morrison was asked to pick the best league between the Indian Premier League, the Pakistan Super League, the Big Bash League and the Caribbean Premier League. Some other interesting questions that he answered was that he would prefer bowling to Virat Kohli among the batters of the current era. He also named the Royal Challengers Bangalore as his favorite T20 franchise. Commenting on the Fab 4 group, Morrison stated: “In Recent times, Steve Smith is Better Batsman than Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Joe Root and Babar Azam.”

He also said that Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are the two of the most attractive and most fluent batters in world cricket right now.
