Well if you don’t know, let us take you back to Euro 2020, a football tournament that is being played by most of the top European nations. During that tournament, current Manchester United and Portugal national team forward or striker Cristiano Ronaldo caused a huge ripple to the beverage company Coca-Cola by removing their bottle from the table during the post match press conference.

Australian opening batsman David Warner recreated the scene when he removed the Coca-Cola bottles from the table, but was later told to put it back, all happened during the press conference after Australia registered a comfortable win over Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup 2021, thanks to a brilliant batting performance by David Warner.

The beverage company Coca-Cola is one of the main sponsors of the T20 World Cup 2021 that is being played in the United Arab Emirates and in Oman. The bottles are normally kept on the table for the pre-match and post-match press conference, just like Euro 2020.

David Warner took both the Coca-Cola bottles on his hand and asked the support staff present there, whether he can remove the bottle or not, but was told to put them back where it was. After that Warner stated that, “If it is good for Cristiano, it’s good enough for me.”

David Warner had a pretty average IPL 2021, where the Aussie opening batsman struggled to score runs and was then dropped out of the team and was made to sit on the stands during Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s matches.
