However it is the Glenn Maxwell’s post match remark about the the light shows being organized by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) throughout all the all the venues of the World Cup 2023. No different was the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi when a light show was organized by the BCCI to entertain the crowd in attendance.

However, following Australia’s epic win over the Dutch, Glenn Maxwell had a different opinion when the all-rounder disapproved of the idea of the light shows being organized by the BCCI. Maxwell said, “I just think it’s the dumbest idea for cricketers when you’ve got this thing coming at you quickly and your eyes take so long to adjust and I think we just lost a wicket and the Perth Stadium lights went nuts and I was at the other end and it took me ages to get my eyes to go again. It’s a horrible, horrible idea. Great for the fans, horrible for the players,” the 35-year-old added.
