Warner’s World Cup journey spans 24 matches, accumulating a total of 1,405 runs at an impressive average of 63.86 and a formidable strike rate of nearly 102.

With an impressive record of six centuries, the most by any Australian, and four half-centuries, his highest individual score of 178 adds to his cricket legacy.

In this year’s World Cup, Warner showcased his prowess further, amassing 413 runs in six matches, averaging a remarkable 68.33 and maintaining a strike rate exceeding 112. His standout performances include two centuries and a fifty, with his highest score in the tournament being 163.

Comparatively, Virat Kohli has accumulated 1,384 runs in 31 matches, maintaining an average of 55.36, with three centuries and nine half-centuries to his name.

However, Warner still lags behind cricket legends such as Sachin Tendulkar (2,278 runs in 45 matches at an average of 56.95, with six centuries and 15 half-centuries), Australia’s Ricky Ponting (1,743 runs in 46 matches at an average of 45.86, with five centuries and six half-centuries), and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara (1,532 runs in 37 matches at an average of 56.74, with five centuries and seven half-centuries).
