However, the fans still had faith that the Indian cricket team’s bowlers would provide a tough run for the Pakistan batter given the weather conditions.

Team India currently boasts a diverse range of pacers in their arsenal, and with Jasprit Bumrah’s return from injury, they have a formidable pace bowling lineup that includes the talents of Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj.

On the other hand, Pakistani pacers have showcased their skills in international cricket in recent years and have arguably been one of the most potent and effective bowling attacks in the world of cricket. Their performance has certainly made them a force to be reckoned with in the bowling department.

The cricketing world has praised the impressive skills of Pakistani fast bowlers following their outstanding performance against India. Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, working together, managed to take all ten wickets, limiting India to a score of 266 in Pallekele.

In the aftermath of the India-Pakistan match, Indian cricketer and commentator Dinesh Karthik raised doubts about the strength of the Indian pace bowling attack. He questioned whether they match up to the level of their Pakistani counterparts.

During an interview with Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik expressed his admiration for Pakistan’s bowling unit. He mentioned that Pakistani fast bowlers consistently reach speeds of 90 miles per hour (MPH), and he considered them to be the best in their craft. Karthik also gave a special compliment to Haris Rauf, describing him as one of the best bowlers in the world.

Karthik elaborated during his conversation with Cricbuzz, saying, “Shaheen, Haris Rauf, and Naseem can consistently bowl at speeds of 90 miles per hour or more, and each of them has a unique style. Shaheen Shah, being a left-arm bowler, uses angles and can bring the ball back in. Naseem Shah has the ability to swing the ball both ways, and Haris Rauf is currently one of the best bowlers, particularly effective towards the end of an innings, thanks to his low bounce and the menacing bouncer he possesses.”

Dinesh Karthik also shared his perspective on how Pakistani pacers perform on flat pitches. He mentioned a preference for playing against Indian pacers rather than facing the challenging bounce generated by the Pakistani speedsters.

In the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistani has already qualified for the Super Four round of the tournament after earlier beating Nepal and then no-result against India. Meanwhile, the Men in Blue will play against Nepal next on the 4th September.
