In the plate division game between Manipur and Vidarbha today, the former Ranji Champions won the game by 167 runs. While Vidharba posted a total of 222 in the first innings, they then bundled out Manipur for just 55 runs. With this, they made a massive statement in the competition.

In the second innings, former RCB cricketer Akshay Karnewar bowled four overs and picked two wickets. Interestingly, he did not concede a single run. Hence, he became the first men’s cricketer to bowl four maidens in a T20 game. Akshay is an ambidextrous bowler and is a rare commodity in the game.
