Meanwhile, India has yet to announce its squad for the upcoming World Cup at home. The squad is likely to be announced on September 5, and it is a big question which player will make the team and which will be dropped.

Notably, India hasn’t been able to win an ICC tournament since 2013. However, many feel that this could be the chance that India was waiting for, and they are firm favorites to win at home. But a lot will depend on the set of players that India picks for the mega event.
