The visitors won the test series 1-0 and registered a 2-1 win in the ODIs. They will look to make it three out of three on the tour. Meanwhile, the hosts will look to win at least one series. However, it will not be easy against an in-form Indian team.

It will be a big series for both teams, which have new faces. For India, some of the players will be eyeing some big records in the upcoming series. The Indian stand-in captain Hardik Pandya needs two more wickets to complete 150 wickets in the shorter format.

He is also on his way to completing 4000 T20 runs. Hardik will become only the second player with 4000 runs and 150 wickets in the shorter format. On the other hand, No. 1 ranked T20 batter Suryakumar Yadav needs another 325 runs to complete 2000 runs in the shorter format.

He will become only the fourth Indian player to do so after Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul. Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh also needs nine more wickets to become the fifth Indian to complete 50 T20I wickets. Sanju Samson is on his way to completing 6000 T20 runs and needs another 21.

Veteran spinner Yuzi Chahal is also on the verge of becoming India’s most successful T20 bowler. After becoming the highest wicket-taker in the IPL, Chahal needs only nine more wickets to complete 100 wickets in the T20 internationals. If he can do so, he will be the first Indian bowler to achieve this landmark.
