While they lost the home series against the Pakistan cricket team, they shocked the cricket fans by winning an away Test against the defending champions New Zealand.

However, after that, Mominul Haque and co. have suffered three defeats in a row. They lost the second against New Zealand and then suffered a 0-2 defeat in the away ICC World Test Championship series against the South African cricket team.

The Asian team is still above England on the World Test Championship standings, and according to a qualification scenario shared by a Twitter user, Mominul Haque’s team still have a slight chance of making it to the WTC Final next year.

Bangladesh have six Test matches remaining, and if they win all of them, they will have a chance to finish in the Top 2 of the ICC World Test Championship points table.

As per the schedule prepared by the International Cricket Council, Mominul Haque and his men will play two home matches against the Indian cricket team. They will host the Sri Lankan cricket team for two matches as well, while they will play one away series against the West Indies team.

The series against the Indian team will be very tough for Bangladesh, but they have a chance against the Sri Lankan side and the Caribbean outfit. It will be interesting to see where do they finish in the eventual WTC standings.
