Pakistan have already been blown by injury and form issues. Now, as per a few reports, the two important players of the team had an argument in the dressing room.
Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi reportedly had an argument
Asia Cup 2023 was a forgettable tournament for Pakistan. At the end of the Super 4, the Asian Team ended at the bottom of the table. Before the tournament started, many expected them to win. However, it was not to be. While the loss against India was really bad, the team fought against Sri Lanka but could not cross the line.
Apparently, Babar Azam expressed his disappointment at the responsible performances of a few players. To this, Shaheen Afridi asked Babar to appreciate those who did well. But, Babar was of a different opinion, and Mohammad Rizwan had to come in to settle the argument. It is in bad taste if this incident really happened, especially with some important games coming up.

Pakistan is in a tough situation right now
Meanwhile, on the field, as well, Pakistan is not in great form. Most of the players are not in good touch while there have been plenty of fitness issues, as well.
Naseem Shah has injured his shoulder and is reportedly out of the World Cup. This is a big blow for the team, especially because he had been in good form.
