Indian cricketers to eat dinner at 6:20 PM during pink-ball Test in Bengaluru

The match timings and the session timings for the pink-ball Test match between the Indian cricket team and the Sri Lankan cricket team have been released. The match will happen at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in March, and the Indian cricketers as well as Sri Lankan cricketers will have a dinner break from 6:20 PM IST to 7:00 PM IST.

Normally, in day Test matches, there is a lunch break for the players, where they return to the dressing room and eat food. Later in the day, there is a tea break. In that way, there are two breaks between the live action which is divided into three sessions totally.

The live action in Bengaluru will start at 2:00 PM IST, with the first session lasting for two hours. There will be a tea break from 4:00 PM IST to 4:20 PM IST. After that the second session will get underway from 4:20 PM IST and go on till 6:20 PM IST. Then, there will be a 40-minute break from 6:20 PM IST to 7:00 PM IST.

The final session will start at 7:00 PM IST and end at 9:00 PM IST, with the umpires calling stumps for the day.

Indian cricketers will be keen to maintain their undefeated record in home pink-ball Tests

The Indian cricket team has never lost a pink-ball Test at home. They first won a Test against Bangladesh in 2019 in Kolkata and then beat the England team in Ahmedabad last year. This year, they will play a pink-ball Test under Rohit Sharma’s leadership for the first time ever.
