Australian cricket team’s opening batter David Warner has made a name for himself with his excellent batting performances in all formats of the sport. Warner has done well in Tests, ODIs and T20Is for the Aussies. Last year, he won the Man of the Tournament award in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

Apart from performing well in international cricket, Warner also dominates the T20 leagues across the world. He is one of the most successful batters in the Indian Premier League history. He has also participated in the Global T20 Canada, Caribbean Premier League and Bangladesh Premier League in his career, but the southpaw has never been a part of any Pakistan Super League team.

At a recent press conference ahead of the second match of the ICC World Test Championship series between the Pakistan cricket team and the Australian cricket team, Warner was asked if he would ever consider playing in the PSL. Warner gave an honest reply and said that he is on national duty during PSL. Thus, it was difficult for him to play there.

“Unfortunately, when the PSL is on, I am actually playing international cricket so it’s very difficult for me to come and play in that,” David Warner replied.
