Apart from batting legends, some Indian bowlers have also shown their world-beating skills and made a name for themselves. With a rich history of Indian cricket, it is tough to make a list or name the best Indian cricketers. But West Indian all-rounder Jason Holder has picked the best five Indian cricketers of all time.

In one of his recent chats, Holder was asked to name his top five Indian cricketers of all time. Without thinking anything, the all-rounder put Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli at the top two of his list. However, surprisingly, he didn’t pick Rohit Sharma or MS Dhoni on his list.

Sachin and Virat are the best batters in two different eras and are among the top in almost every batting record in all three formats. That makes them really special. At no. 3, Holder picked former Indian captain and current Indian coach Rahul Dravid, who scored more than 10,000 runs in Tests and ODIs.

The West Indian all-rounder then chose former stylish Indian batter VVS Laxman on his list. Laxman was one of the main batters in the Indian middle order and scored runs in tough conditions. Holder then slotted veteran Indian off-spinner Ravi Ashwin at No. 5.

Ashwin recently reached the 500-wicket mark in a test during the third test against England in Rajkot. The West Indian all-rounder didn’t pick Sunil Gavaskar, Anil Kumble, MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, or even Rohit, who is leading the Indian team against England. However, fans might not be happy with his list, but he didn’t include two greats like Dhoni or Rohit.
