Meanwhile, Australian pacer Jhye Richardson has issued a warning about India captain Rohit Sharma.

The host country for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, India will kick start its ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign against the Australian cricket team on the 8th of October at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Just before the World Cup opener between both the countries, both India and Australia faced off in a 3 match ODI series that the Men in Blue won 2-1. India won the first 2 matches under KL Rahul’s captaincy but lost the third match to the Aussies.

The next time these two teams will face off, will be the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on the 8th of October. Both the teams would be looking get off the mark well with a win.

Meanwhile, Australian pacer Jhye Richardson, who is not part of the World Cup squad for Australia, has issued a big warning for the Australian bowlers. During his candid chat with Fox Sports, Jhye Richardson said that bowling to Rohit Sharma is the most difficult and even if you bowl a maiden over to him, he will then hit the next over for 20 to 25 runs.

“You bowl a maiden over to Rohit Sharma & think you are at the top but the next over when you bowl, he will smash you for 20-24 runs,” said the Australian pacer.
