What changes did Kohli make?

Kohli was seemed to be disappointed with Team India’s performance in the first test match played against South Africa, as they lost the match by 72 runs. Hence Kohli made some changes with the team and introduced few replacements for existing players. He replaced Shikhar Dhawan with KL Rahul and also changed the wicket-keeper too. Parthiv Patel was brought into the team instead of Saha.

Added to this, Kohli also made a huge change into the team which grabbed the attention of all Indian Cricket fans. He replaced Bhuvaneshwar Kumar with Ishant Sharma  for no specific reason. And this move is being criticized by all sorts of people. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar finished with six wickets in the first game. This also includes four wickets in South Africa’s first innings. But also South Africa clawed their way back into the game and won a low-scoring thrill match.

“Watching Virat Kohli excluding Shikhar Dhawan for just one Test failure, and Bhuvneshwar for no reason at all, Kohli should drop himself in the third Test at Johannesburg, if he fails to perform in Centurion.”

Sehwag added saying that,

“Excluding Bhuvneshwar wasn’t the right decision. Citing that Ishant might benefit with his height, Kohli has hurt Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s self-confidence.”
