8. Highest score by KKR captain in IPL: Dinesh Karthik – 97*
Surprisingly, not a single player has scored a century while captaining KKR. The highest score is by Dinesh Karthik, who scored 97 against RR in 2019.
7. Highest score by MI captain in IPL: Sachin Tendulkar – 100*
Only one batter has hit a ton while captaining Mumbai Indians. He is none other than Sachin Tendulkar, who scored his first IPL ton against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011.
6. Highest score by LSG captain in IPL: KL Rahul – 103*
Lucknow Super Giants debuted in 2022, but they are already sixth in the list, thanks to their skipper KL Rahul. He scored two hundreds against Mumbai Indians in the 2022 season.
5. RCB: Virat Kohli – 113
Virat Kohli smashed four centuries while leading RCB in the year 2016. He notched up his highest score of 113 against Punjab Kings that season.
4. RR: Sanju Samson – 119
Sanju Samson scored a fantastic 119 on captaincy debut for Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings in 2021. Unfortunately, his knock ended in a losing cause.
3. Delhi: Virender Sehwag – 119
Delhi Capitals, previously known as Delhi Daredevils, own the third spot on this list. Their former skipper Virender Sehwag scored 119 against Deccan Chargers in 2011.
2. SRH: David Warner – 126
Former SRH captain David Warner was at his peak during his stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad. In a match against KKR in 2017, Warner scored 126 runs.
1. PBKS: KL Rahul – 132*
KL Rahul owns the record for the highest score by a captain in an IPL match. It was against RCB for PBKS in 2020, where he scored 132 runs.
