Afridi took the big wicket of Rohit Sharma in the first over itself, and then, he rattled the stumps of KL Rahul with a dream delivery.

Virat Kohli came to the team’s rescue when the Men in Blue were struggling. He scored an excellent half ton, but in the end, he got out caught behind off Afridi’s bowling. In a recent interview with Cricbuzz, Shaheen explained how he took the wicket of Virat in that match. He said that the leg-side boundary was shorter, so he had to mix things up.

“If I had bowled straight and fast at him [Virat Kohli], he would have flicked me or pulled me for runs. So I wanted to mix things up and bowl a slow bouncer at him, so that it would have been difficult for him to go leg-side. Luckily for me, the ball gripped and he got out,” said Afridi.
