Riding on a great inning from the wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant, Team India registered a very crucial win against England in the 3rd ODI to win the series 2-1 against the home team.
Team India was in terrible position at a time when Rishabh Pant hit the crease and then controlled the inning with Hardik Pandya. From being 4 down for 72 runs at a stage, Rishabh Pant’s 125 and Hardik Pandya’s took near to the victory line before the latter was dismissed by Brydon Carse.

Team India suffered a major collapse and were down to 3 wickets for 38 runs. It got even worse when 4th wicket fell for 72 runs total. But then, Pant and Hardik Pandya formed a very crucial partnership of 133 runs. Pant and Jadeja in the end guided India over the line to win the series 2-1 after winning the first match of the series.
