Current Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Rizwan made a statement that shocked everyone. The opening batsman said that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is better T20 cricket league than the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Indian Premier League (IPL) brought a revolution to the T20 cricket when it was founded in the year 2008. The Pakistan Super League though was founded in the year 2015.
India and Pakistan is two of the most cricket loving countries in the world and has a huge heritage and history. Both the teams are quite successful in the game and both have won the Cricket World Cup previously.
Both the countries made it to the next level in terms of cricket and talents when both the countries introduced their very own T20 cricket league. Both the leagues have played a huge role in development of their talent.
While IPL was among the very first T20 leagues, the other countries have joined in the process. Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE among many to have their respective T20 league.
However, the Pakistan international wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan believes that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is better T20 league than the Indian Premier League (IPL).
While speaking to Pakistani journalist, Rizwan said, “We used to say there is IPL, now if you ask players who go back after playing here, wo keh rahe ki duniya ki sabse tough league jo hai wo hai Pakistan ki hai kyunki isme koi agar reserve player bhi hota hai to internationally bahar baitha hua hota hai bench pe. (They are saying that Pakistan has the toughest league in the world because even our reserve players sit on the bench).”
