Former Indian cricketer and batter Mohammad Kaif just recently picked his all-time best Indian Premier League (IPL) Playing XI and unsurprisingly named the former India captain MS Dhoni to lead his side.

Indian Premier League (IPL), the most richest and popular T20 cricket league, has been graced by many of the greats of the game, such as Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh to name a few.

Picking your all-time favourite Playing XI is always a tough ask for any fans or even the cricket experts. Mohammad Kaif is a latest of the experts to come out and pick his all-time best IPL Playing XI.

The former India cricketer picked the explosive opening duo of Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma, both considered as one of the best opening batsman that the competition has seen.

Virat Kohli at number three and no has any doubt that. The former India captain has been very successful batting at number 3 and is IPL’s most run scorer. Known as MR.IPL, Kaif picked former CSK left-hand batter Suresh Raina at number 4.

AB de Villiers and MS Dhoni follows after Suresh Raina at number 5 and number 6 respectively. AB de Villiers has been a legend of the competition, while MS Dhoni is by far the best captain that the competition has seen, thus, Kaif didn’t think before choosing Dhoni as captain.

Kolkata Knight Riders and West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell is next at number 7 and is followed by the ever economical and wicket-taker Rashid Khan.
