England will defend their title and will look to do it well this time around. However, there will be some other teams that will be looking to win the tournament, and it is expected to be a tough competition. Former English captain Naseer Hussain has predicted the winner of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Naseer said, “I am going to go with South Africa. It is in the Caribbean and the West Indies are going well, then you have Pakistan, so can I choose all of these sides?” The former English captain said that the SA20 has helped South Africa find new talent.

Then, the likes of Anrich Nortje and Sisanda Magala will also be recovering from injuries, which will strengthen their bowling attack more. Furthermore, Naseer also picked Suryakumar Yadav to be the player to watch out for.

He said that some of the shots SKY plays are unbelievable. He said that irrespective of his ODI numbers, Suryakumar knows what to do in T20 cricket, which is why he is the No. 1 ranked batter in this format.
