He took to his official social media handle to speak out his bond and relationship with Andrew Symonds. Lyon said that it’s a really news to start the day and recalled their conversation during Shane Warne‘s memorial.

Lyon stated that he had a chat with Symonds that day of how young at age has he left us. He posted, “I am heartbroken by the news we all woke up to. It was only 2 months ago at Warnie’s memorial service, Roy and I had a good chat and agreed it was too young to leave us, now this!”

He appreciated the legend’s contribution and added note of support for his family and kids.
