Virat and Rohit are the stars of their nation for over a decade. We have plans to take them and will execute them tomorrow.”
The Nepal captain also said that the former Indian captain is an inspiration for everyone in the team. He added that they are trying hard and want to do well on the big stage. Meanwhile, Rohit also admitted that it will be a “fanboy” moment because India has some big names in the team.
However, the weather forecast is not good for the game. It is predicted to rain during match day, and the game is likely to be called off. India is second in their group with one point after the game against Pakistan was called off.
Nepal, on the other hand, lost to Pakistan by 236 runs and is at the bottom with no points. If the game on Monday gets rained out, then both teams will share a point each. In that case, with two points, India will qualify for the next round, while Nepal will be out of the tournament.
