Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the governing body of cricket in Pakistan, is quite angry that the Pakistani journalists have not given Visa to travel to India. Thus, other than the players, there is no representation from Pakistan in the World Cup 2023.

PCB have instead formed a WhatsApp group where the journalists will send their questions during the whole duration of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

After the match against Sri Lanka, the next big Test await for the Babar Azam led side in the form of the Indian cricket team. The Men in Green will take on the hosts on the 14th of October in Ahmedabad.
